Roshmond “Sum” Patten

AI Specialist

Artist + Researcher

Although AI is currently experiencing a renaissance, Roshmond “Sum” Patten is not really new to the space. From training music discovery algorithms and developing new AI educational prototypes, to pushing back against harmful AI in predictive policing with community organizations and architecting ethical frameworks, Sum has had his hands in this for close to a decade. He didn’t plan to be any kind of AI specialist, the space came to him.
